Oobleck:Not Quite Slime
By Antoinette Durand
Bartholomew and the Oobleck is a Dr. Seuss book written in 1949. You can make your own oobleck with a few easy ingredients. Oobleck is a runny slime-like mixture. It runs through your figures like thick water, but is hard if you punch it.
1 1/2 C Corn Starch
1 C Water
Food Dye (Optional)
Add water and food dye (if you're choosing to use it) to a mixing bowl, and stir. Add cornstarch and mix. If it feels too runny, add a TBSP of cornstarch at a time.
That's all you have to do! It's much easier than slime, and you can whip it up to entertain bored children fast.

Classic Issue:The Sugar Glider
By Ember Hernandez
I have to admit, these furry little flyers are cute and sweet, and maybe you’d even like one as an addition for your family, (I know I do!) but here are some things you might need to know first.
1. They have a sweet tooth.
Sugar gliders in the wild have a natural sweet tooth and tend to drink nectar and eat tiny fruits. If you want to treat them, give these flying squirrels a grape or honeycomb. Too much sugar will put them on a crazy bend.
2. They need friends.
Sugar gliders are social creatures. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dog or a cat or even a turtle, they just need someone to play with.
3. They jump around.
Sugar gliders are very jumpy little marsupials. Once they’re awake, they’ll jump on you and zoom around and explore little crevices. You should at least devote one hour to play or cuddle with them.
Nonetheless, these cute little guys are adorable, are you should consider one. They live 10-15 years, so they are long term pets. And, they’re adorable!
